A custom handcrafted pool table made out of [ chatsubu ] or "chargrain" is a unique and luxurious piece of furniture. Chatsubu or Shou Sugi ban is a traditional Japanese technique of charring wood to enhance its durability and aesthetics. The "Black Widow” pool table is a series of games including shuffleboard and more. Xplor has used the ancient art of shou sugi ban to create a stunning one-of-a-kind set.
The table was charred and then meticulously finished to reveal a beautiful, textured and dark wood grain with red inlayed lines that is both visually striking and highly resistant to wear and tear. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on this custom game truly makes it a work of art.
This game set also has a removable ping pong table top with custom steel net made for our buddy Josh Duhamel. We cut out a custom logo for him "Buddy Games" which he has produced 2 movies for and now has a tv show on CBS.
On the sides of the game, it has two custom benches, with one opening with all the game goodness inside.
